Cival War Site

I have the opportunity to hunt private property where cival war training of cadets took place.
I was trying to get a feel for some settings on my 705 in hopes of hitting some good targets.
I guess me being a rookie leads me to ask for suggestions here.
Would i hunt im AM, What sensitivity, ect. Im sure targets would include some bullets, buttons since they made them there,
and coins from 1861.I am very excited to be invited to hunt at this place!
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks...

I hunt civil war relics all winter. I like to use two tones all metal and sensitivity as high as I can get it with out being to chattery. Dig all high tones and all really deep signals. I have dug -8 that were really deep bullets. Go slow and get some good headphones. Civil war hunting has taught me a lot about coin hunting also. I now dig some things while coin hunting that I used to would not have dug. Hope this helps you.

A site like that I would save until I became more familiar with the machine, unless it's an open invitation. A great opportunity like that doesn't come along every day.
