it all depends on the ground conditions. were i was i could run 8khz REC 2 SIL-0 but the closer i got to were the old house is the trash field picked up
and i go to GM-FAST OR DEUS FAST were i run 12-18 KHZ. and a rec of 3 and sometimes 4 SIL. 0 this keeps my swing speed going and still can here
faint signels. tones are FULL TONE IN GM FAST/DEUS FAST most times i disc out up to 5 or notch out up to 30 depending on the trash this is the only
mode i use notch i like to run my audio around 4 and maybe 5 giveing me added audio on deep targets but i find 7-8in. dime with REC OF 3 with pleanty
of audio. these settings are not for every one , but we all have are own way of swinging again if the ground is nice i will run a modifed GM power 8KHZ
3 tones/ fulltones REC 2/1 SIL.0 disc out sm. nails up to 5 i dont like to swing slow, unless i have gone over the ground before then REC 1 to double check.
and i keep my check for iron mode in between the 8 KHZ and 18 KHZ so 1 click eather way to check 4 iron.with 4 KHZ
