Heres my pics of my day out. couldnt hunt the grounds though.......but it was fun. the cannons were the best with the huge BABOOOOOM....sometimes you could even feel the force of them whip past you...

the sailor guy is a friend of my husband he worked the cannon we are in front of....he got us in for free as guests...

Nice pics, dobbie! Is that you holding your son? You both look like you are having a great time and sorry you couldn't hunt the grounds though, but that is usually the way it is....but can you hunt them after the reenactment is over with and they have all left? Hope you find lots and lots more goodies and can get out as often as you are able!

yes this is me and my son. he really enjoyed the cannons as well. we bought a replica toy cap gun for him to play with.

Thanks,dobbie, I thought it was probably your son and you! A cute little blond headed tyke, but not able to see you very well, so cannot comment but know you are pretty too, from your other post of you in the desert! Oh, to be younger again with the wisdom I have now!
