Hello....I am close completing my run of Civil War Times magazine from the first issue (including when it was in newspaper form) to the last issue printed....a couple questions -----
1) I know it's out of print - does the reputation of the magazine still stand up? Is it still highly collected, sought and referenced? What is the general consensus of historians today on the long run?
2) More importantly, there was an index volume prepared by Lee Meredith that takes it through the year 1989. (which I own). It does not look like he has released a second volume...is there another index around for the other issues? It looks like there is little online in way of collecting the articles, covers or indexing them in any meaningful way. Can someone point me in the right direction?
Thanks, Sean
