Hello Guys
I just picked up a nice Classic ID with Mr. Bill's Mods.
Under the Sensitivity knob is a unmarked Toggle switch. Since the Classic ID did not come with a black sand switch and by research of Mr. Bills past post I have learned that the Classic ID was not able to have the switch added.
So my conclusion is that this switch is probally a Slow Auto Tune switch. I read where Mr. Bil did add this mod to a few machines.I have not used this machine in the real world yet, just playing with it around the house I really can't tell any difference in all metal responce or Disc responce no matter which way it's switched.
My first question is what is the best way to tell if I'm in sat or fast auto tune, switch is unlabeled.
What type of situations would you want to use a Slow Auto Tune.
I will be using this machine in relic hunting in iron infested ghost towns, around old homesites with lots of nails, etc.
I got the best coils with it, the 8" and the 6"
Thanks in advance
Jerry
