That is a really nice necklace! WOW!!!!! I think what is inside the necklace is a small sharks tooth. That is what it looks like anyways. WTG!!!

Beautiful necklace and as you mentioned earlier, quite a find. I have only seen one found and it was my hunting partner and not me who picked it up, 24kt and had 101 large links in it. Anyway your's appears to have a special hand formed bezel around what James said appears to be a shark tooth. The bezel tells me that the item was original in it's form and made especially for that item. I tend to agree on the shark tooth theory although it could be some other type of fossilized tooth of some type. Just my thought on the subject but a wonderful find Mr. Chili

Mrchile, what you have there is a Thai Baht chain with a Buddah pendant. Possibly a 1 or 2 baht chain. There should be a small stone Buddah inside the pendant. Normally Thai gold is 22kt, but sometimes there is the occasional 24kt. Great find!!!
