Hello Folks I have a couple questions. I have the XP Deus with the 11 inch coil and was thinking of getting the 11x13 elliptical version. Any thoughts on what I would gain with this coil? The new coils of r2017 if I understand are primary for the gold nugget hunters? Is there any advantage over the 11 inch coil or the 11x13 model? Please share your thoughts on this with me.

For sure you will gain ground cover. That is great hunting large area's.
 
i had the 11x13 and sold it, while it covers more ground i found I did not have that much "extra" work covering with the 9", and there is more upside to the 9 IMO. If it was me I would buy a 0" or HF.

OK my new coil has arrived and it has the 3.2 version software installed in it, my machine has the 4.0 installed, so do I uninstall and reinstall to get them to work together?

Actually just re-install 4V
It will overwrite it.
