Coil depth comparison

Does anyone have depth comparisons between the 5x10 HF DD elliptical and the 6" coils. I need to purchase a waterproof coil, and DD coils work better in my area. Unfortunately minelab has really dropped the ball in my opinion on waterproof coil selection availability for Xterra users where DD coils are preferred. If I'm correct, it's either the 6" or the coiltek 15".

If you want waterproof, then the 6" and 9" coils from MineLab and the WOT are the only options. The 10

I have both the hf dd elliptical and hf dd 6 inch. Go for the 6" inch. It's waterproof and is very accurate. If you have trashy areas then the 6 inch is a must.

Yeah the six inch hf dd is great and works miracles in trashy areas, in my soil I'm only losing an inch compared to the 5x10 elliptical.

I have them both and think they are on the same depth.The little 6" hits like a spear,sending out thus Vflex...If you want I can do a video today or tomorrow,comparing those coils.Would you prefer US coins as reference?
Yes I wish the 5x10 would be waterproof,as same as the 10.5DD,cus I sometimes forget it,soaking the coil in shallow water to get it clean,but then...opps its only waterresistant,thats why I have purchased some of the Ukraine coils,they are all waterproof.

Have tested the 5x10 and the 6x8 SEF coil on etrac on a hammered coin,Etrac cant find it on any settings,but the Xterra 705 with eliptical does it...strange..

I also just ordered the Blisstool V3...gonna be interesting to compare Xterra with that deep seeking Bulgarian machine.

I'll never say no to a Xterra video. Unfortunately my Xterra is a newer one so the non-minelab authorized coils won't work. I wish coiltek could make others since minelab apparently has let us Xterra users down. Not many, if any, other detectors coils are not waterproof.

Yeah its true! If only they have had made all the coils waterproof,I shouldnt have to go for the no-no coils. A little Joey Coiltek and the Platyplus from the same company would be a great thing.So come on Coiltek with want your products.Im very satisfied with my WOT.
I like to hunt in streams and shallow water,but think the 15" WOT to big,so therefore I go for the little 6"DD.

I will go out and get some video done.Have to take another camera,cus I was filming with my DSLR and the clips just got so BIG in size I couldnt send it from home,due to our DSL here on the countryside.
