coil help

I currenly am using a 1280x and want to buy a new CZ20 for water detecting in Fl, but need some feed back on the size of coil to order it with. This forum is a wealth of information so, I would like to get some pro and cons from people that have used both.

the 8 in coil will help you pinpoint better but if you go with the bigger coild i think it is 10 1/2 it will go deeper on targets coin size and bigger but pinpointing will be harder. i have the 10 1/2 and i love it. hope this helps you.
