coil loosing connection HELP.

jarid

New member
looking for advice. my coil keeps just randomly loosing connection the screen will say no coil and out of nowhere it works again I was running 4.0 so I upgraded to 4.1 and it still does the same thing i have mostly been using the HF coil but it has done it with the LF also. where should i start? thanks in advance

Hi Jarid, sorry to hear you are having problems, just to be sure it may be a good idea to contact your reseller and ask them to check your machine.
Is your RC on the machine when you are detecting or in a pocket.
Perhaps try turning the RC off and use the headphones only and see if the problem still exists.

Thanks for replying Gary. the RC was on the shaft at the time and it has the same issue with both either/or headset and RC. Would it be possible to force the HF coil to update by un pairing the LF coil and re running the update.

I've been having this problem since going to 4.1... I have reinstalled 4.1 from the official XP site and it still happens. the MI6 probe is still a problem too. I have had to finally delete it and give up on it. I wish we could go back to 4.0 but the drop down menu won't let us, just shows 2.0 or 3.2 I'm getting pretty tired of 4.1
