Coil on the ACE 350

Does the bottom of your coil look like the one in the sales brochure? Mine doesn't. When I got my 350 (factory fresh) I thought that it looked as if it wasn't completely finished. I was wondering if it is a factory defect. It works fine but it looks crummy and cheap. Just wanted to know how the other coils appeared.

I had to go back and look at the ad, but mine looks identical to the one shown (gray). Can you post a pic? Maybe you got the 4:55PM Friday edition

There was another post a few weeks ago, where someone was unhappy with the base of the new DD coil. They posted a picture, and it looked as if the resin had not been filled to the edge of the coil case. I have spent ages searching this and other forums, but can not find the post anywhere.

Thanks for your comments. I was wondering if I was alone "out there". I tried taking a picture, but it doesn't show what I'm referring to in the pic. I appears that the epoxy isn't applied completely. It is very sloppy and doesn't reflect the quality of product I have come to expect of Garrett.
