Coil opinion?

Between the 6x10 DD and the 10 D2, which do you prefer and why? I can see the 6x10 being easier to use in grass. Anyone have any idea which one is more stable on wet sand at the beach?
Thanks

I use the 10"DD at the beach. Some places I have to turn the sensitivity down a bit, but mostly I can run it wide open at the beach. I run it wide open on the relic fields too. Very stable. Much more stable and deeper than the 6" x 10". JMHO

I much prefer the 6X10 over the 10D2. I think it's quieter, pinpoints better, and has better target separation. I'll give the edge in depth to the 10D2 by about 1/2" in my mineralized soil. Sold my 10D2. Keeping the more versatile 6x10.

I have to go with Tom I have both 6X10 and 10 inch DD coils and I like the 6X10 alot better and as he said its quieter to run . The 6X10 coil handles EMI better also . I have some spots my 10 inch DD goes crazy and the 6X10 works great at . Like he said the D2 may be a little deeper but its not worth it to me ether reather have a coil that runs quiet and smooth running . I'm going to sell my D2 before long as I don't hardly ever use it anymore .
