In a post on the forums made by Dave J., the FTP lead design engineer, he stated that the Gold Bug Pro and G2 were designed to share the same Double-D coils. Both the round 5" DD and 11" BiAxial DD. Also, I think some of the earlier Gold Bug SE's and such might have been using a different search coil, but I'm not positive on that. Just that the final offerings in the fisher Gold Bug Pro w/5" and Gold Bug DP w/11" and Teknetics G2 w/11" all share the Teknetics 'Greek' series coils.

Thanks Monte. Due to the difference in frequency between the Gold Bug/G2 and the Omega and Delta I am surprised they will work with each other........Jack
