coils

All Minelab and Coiltek coils for Xterras will work with your 705.

Stay away from the non Minelab/Coiltek coils......not worth the $$$$$ or any gain in performance, I know, I've tried them all.............

What do you feel is the better 6" coil Minelab's ???

Better? For what?
Of the twelve coils available, there is no redundancy. If you want a 6" HF or MF coil you get one from Minelab. If you want a 6" LF, it will be a Coiltek.

In my opinion having both of the 6" coils from Minelab and the one from Coiltek, The 6" Coiltek tops the list in my book. It's my experience that the 6" MF Minelab coil in my soil was the least favorite. I eventually sold it to someone looking for one and haven't missed it a day.

OK that sound good but you say your soil, where approx. are you I'm on the N. East coast of FL.. Some people don't like the 6"coiltek and I'm wondering is because where they a located ?? I would like to narrow it down if possible ?
