Coiltek Platypus.11 X 8" For Explorer.

Are any of you using this coil with your Explorers?.

If so how are you finding them.Thanks,Jerry.

I have one on my Explorer XS, but I really haven't used mine that much to really say it's much better that the stock Explorer coil. There are other guys who use the Platypus and they say that they are a very good coil. Keep using it and it will come around for you...:) HH.

Hi JBM,

I have been using the platypus since Christmas and love it.
It's a little better all round than the stock coil, and great for getting into small places, I have put the stock coil away for good and will probably never use it again. Another good supplement coil is the 15 inch WOT, I use one of these for beach work to cover a bit of ground a little quicker, the 15 WOT also gives a lot more depth than the stock coil, both the Platypus and 15 WOT complement the EX II very nicely.
If you can get one a X1 probe is also a very good investment.

All the best......Boony....Tassie....Australia
