Found something interesting when it comes to Canadian clad coins when hunting in two tone or single tone all metal modes.
Canadian clad coins on edge will only give a one way signal.
Now if the coin is on an angle, you will only get a signal from one direction. Not sure if this really matters, just found it interesting.
If the coin is angled to the right, you will only get a signal when the coil is swept across from right to left.
If the coin is angled from to the left, you will only get a signal when the coil is swept across from left to right.
These on edge coins fall into the lower iron range as well. If hunting in disc mode to disc out iron, you'll never even know they are there-
just like any other brand detector.
