Cold and wet this morning....:minelab:

Yes cold and wet in the first hour and half my boots were soaked. dident have much luck but did get this coin i would asume its from the philippines but on the coin it spells pilipinas. also two wheats:cool:

I pulled an odd-shaped coin from Cyprus this past weekend. I often wonder how these coins make it all the way over here ..
 
Hi,
Here's a photo of some G.I.'s cool handy work using two coins like what you found.
It's a homemade cigarette lighter built from a brass hex nut, two Philippine Centavo coins and some lathe turned fittings.
No, I didn't dig it up,but I thought I'd share it anyway because it's kind of relevant.
And no,I never tried using it !
