Cold, cold Michigan hunt, 7 silvers!

I braved the 25 degree weather today for 4 hours, I refuse to put the machine up in the winter. Back to a place thats loaded with junk and iron, sometimes coins here don't fare too well, as you can see iron damage to the walker. She was masked by a peice of metal at about 4", but a solid hit that you cannot mistake, what a rush! I was also suprised to find the canadian, hoped it was a standing quarter, but no regrets.amc

That's awesome. Some X-large old silver,very nice!

Very nice finds amc....very nice.

That Walker shows the fruits of your labor.

When you find one with a nice iron stain like that...it makes it very special:clapping:

Good hunting:clapping:

Very nice finds! That barber is almost pristine! Good job and thanks for braving the cold...you know - just to show us these finds! Thanks a bunch for the pictures too!

I agree with Eddie, If you DO want to clean that coin, it should be very easy. Nice finds also, I love the Barber

Where are you in MI? I am in Southwest MI, West of Kalamazoo. Keep up the great finds.

Really nice bunch of finds. Got to love finding big silver. Personally, id clean her up just to get the stain off... nothing to loose there. Use a micro cloth and a little bar keepers friend and dont rub... just wax on swirl. Some of my best finds are in the trash because most hunter give up and want to hunt the easy more open areas because it takes more time and patience with trash.

Thanks for the cleaning tip dew, I knew a light baking soda rub wouldn't cut it. I now get all my silver in the heavy trashy spots, because the other areas are all picked clean! Opens up a whole new world of detecting.
