Isn't it about time for a new detector to come out from teknetics or fisher. It's been awhile. And when we get newer better cell phones every 6 months I think its about time for a new detector to come out. The last one to come out was the G2 and I love it but im ready for something new. I think its time to put the pressure on. We love your machines and are ready for the next. And a back light would be nice. Just my 2cents.

How about a new or possibly an upgrade to the T2SE where the last settings can be recalled after the unit is shut off?

I would love something like the g2 with another tone and more depth. Also maybe the user can pick where the tones break instead of a scale that shrinks on it's own. And a back light. And maybe a threshold in disc mode.

I have a feeling something's coming soon. Last time I felt this, Minelab brought out the CTX 3030 or whatever it is. I'm not certain but think it's either going to be Garrett or First Texas. Since I want detectors from both companies, it doesn't really matter. Whoever comes out first will, possibly, get my business first.

Yup, I'm ready for something new.

There are many windows of opportunity for new innovations. I know what I want is possible to create but there is nothing out there worth buying.

I wish I were on the design team.

i feel we are already working with some of the best equipment out there....i more than satisfied with the T-2 and out dig others around me..just saying.............

I agree, the T2 is an excellent detector. They could make software changes (like retain settings when turned off), but I would not buy a new one for something like that. Like they say if it ain`t broke, don`t fix it.

Spellman and other posters,

First Texas, Bounty Hunter Division, just came out with their new Titan 9000 ! ;)

I just saw it advertised on page 37 of the March, 2013 issue of Western & Eastern Treasures magazine !

An 8 inch DD coil for the T-2 would be nice, 3 inches larger than the 5 inch coil, 3 inches smaller than the 11. In my HO that would complete the set.

I want a detector that can xray the ground and show you what the target is...that would also help with my arrowhead hunting...

A feller on the F Series forum summed it up in a picture on the "If you could get one Fisher detector currently available" thread. A CZ 3D with auto dig, cloaking device, and a cold beverage dispenser. http://www.flickr.com/photos/91952048@N04/8443191240/

Please Help I bought a new, Delta 4000 a few weeks ago. Am finding the normal junk. But am having a problem with it locking up. The target ID will freeze on any value and the it will show any item, and any depth. I can pass over nothing or anything and it staues frozen. Have even held it in the air. This last maybe 30 seconds to 2 min. Then it returns to normal operation. I have a full battery in the unit. I can power it off and then back and that will clear it. Hepl me I got a buddy that bought a Whites at a garage sale for $75 .00 and he is kicking my butt.
