What kind of dirt do you have where you will test? Here where I live in CA. the dirt is highly mineralized and all detectors suffer with depth.

Same in parts of Virginia. The ground can go up to 4 bars in some areas. No matter where it will pit one against the other on well hunted iron infested sites.
