Compadre and NEL coil

margiop

Member
I would like to know if someone has tried a NEL coil on his Compadre.

The Sharpshooter seems an effective coil, coverage and separation, but the depth ?

I have turned the sensitivity at the maximum through the trimmer inside, increasing the air test of a good 25% with the 5.75 coil.

My future upgrade will be the ground pot and a DD coil, that's why I am looking for your advice.

I have the Hunter 8x12 on the way, I will be trying it on my Banditos and my Euro Sabre. I have used the Sharpshooter on Minelabs and it was a excellent coil. I am curious about the Tesoros because they are all sold with concentric coils and I would like to tweek a little more depth and separation from them. I would say, go ahead and give it a shot. I never was really impressed with the Tesoro Widescan DD's as they really made the uMax series detectors nose heavy.

I used to have a whites M-6 and thought that the execrator coils would get me better depth and found out NOT some detectors can only send a signal so deep into the ground but I think the , NEL coils from what i seen on tube videos work very well in some cases better,
