Found a rechargeable battery (9 v) that I hadn't used in 2 years- it recharged! Wasn't using the Compadre much because of the ridiculous new prices on alkalines, so I plugged her in and was having a good ole time in my favorite park. Up comes this kid who asks his Mom what I'm doing. She tells him I'm metal detecting- to which he replies, "THAT'S a metal detector!?:rofl:
 
Back when the first micro-size Tesoro came out I knew of a local dealer calling them Toysoro. Ha! I think it was a brilliant move on Tesoro's part and aren't todays micro size phones better than the old "shoebox" size phone's of yesteryear? This is a good example of where....size does NOT matter :detecting:
