Comparde seems the consensus

I want to thank you guys for weighting in on my Comparde/ Silver uMax question. Between this forum & Videos on utube, I'm going to go with the Comparde, going to get it in a couple of weeks. It has the size coil I need for the job that needs filled. { Cleaning up after my 2 little higher end detectors} I'll be digging most all of it till I get to know it better. Won't be too bad cause I'll be hunting with a long handled scoop. Hopefully have some stories in a couple of weeks.

I think you will be very happy with the Compadre. I have both and really like both, but I think there is something special about the Compadre. I will go as far to say that if anyone owns two detectors, one of them should be a Compadre. Good luck and H.H.!

Many under estimate the Compadre because of its simplicity.

You are going to leanr what a mistake that is.

Happy hunting!

I will go one step further.
I believe that no matter how many other detectors you own, 1 or 100, you are absolutely crazy if you don't add the Compadre to your arsenal.

I have a Compadre as a "back up machine." Some weeks it gets used more than my main detector. I am still learning this machine, and I plan on having this guy for a longtime.
