Compass CS Pro-6000 XL Pro-Sovereign Question For Monte

I will not mention names nor treasure forum, this person stated and gave a lengthy electronical and field use reason why the Sovereign was no match for the Compass Coin Scanner Pro and the 6000 XL Pro's depth could not match the Compass......

I will beg to differ. I've been using the 6000's for over 20 years and now the XL Pro. I also used the Gold Scanner Pro for some time and I still have a Coin Scanner Pro in the closet. In bad ground neither of the Compasses will match the XL Pro in depth when set up properly. The Gold Scanner Pro at one time was my favorite detector for hunting iron infested ghost town sites and it's a great detector in that area. I'm a big fan of analog meters and still think the Compass detectors are better than most of the newer detectors today. When it comes to depth in bad ground I will take the Whites 5900/6000 and or XL Pro over any detector on the market. By the way I also owned a couple of different Sovereigns through the years and had no complaints with them in the depth department in areas that didn't have a lot of iron.

It would only be fair if I was able to read what you read in order to comment on it fairly. If you'd like to keep the site off the forum, you could PM me or E-mail me with the site so I could read it.

Gut response is to agree with the post by 'crazyman'.

Without knowing any details about what you read let me just offer up these thoughts:

I'd be glad to respond to you ... and your 'group,' ... if you'd like.

Shoot me an E-mail: MonteVB@comcast.net with any specific questions regarding all the posts and I'll do one back to you. To each of "you" or you can share it with the others.

Thanks,

Monte
