Concentric Coils

My experience with concentric coils is limited to VLF/TR detectors I have built. The concentric coils I made would go deeper than a dual D but the detection pattern was like a cone. This meant that although it went deeper, it had a very narrow scan at it's maximum depth compared to a dual D. Are these results the same when using a concentric coil with a PI?

Hi Dave,
Yes, the characteristics of DD and concentric coils are the same whatever technology is used.
Eric.
