Confederate 5 pound lead ingot?????

I found a 5 pound lead ingot that has the letters "CS" on top of it. I found this right off of Old Plank road on private property outside of Fredericksburg Va. I beleive this may be a lead ingot used by the Confederates to make bullets, but I am not sure because I can not find anything at all to compare it to, to verify this. Can any one here help me? I have pics of it, if you know what it is please email me at pricem@sec.gov. I will happily email pics to any one interested in seeing this.

Martin,
I see you found David's site. He is pretty good on I.D.ing relics as well as several others. Good luck and maybe somebody will know what it is. I know I've never seen anything quite like it. Donnie V

If you could post a pic here in the forum, maybe we can get an idea of what it could be. The lettering style could point us in the right direction. If you do not know how to post pics yet, visit the Finds Support Forum. Glad to have you join us. Good hunting, David @ Dixie
