Confused a bit

It tells you how the MXT can be locked at 50 and 83. I'm still looking thru the back pages to find how our machines can be locked "slightly positive". Boy, do I ever have a lot to learn !!

You know it is locked slightly positive when:

A. You lift up the coil

B. Squeeze the trigger to get into all metal mode

C: Slowly lower the coil to the ground

If you hear a slight increase in the threshold volume as the coil is lowered, then you are locked with a
slightly positive ground balance.

If the threshold volume decreases, then you are negative ground balanced.

To see what your ground balance is, go into prospecting mode. You'll see the number in the display.

Me too.

That explains how to tell whether you are locked into a positive or negative GB. How do you lock in to a slightly positive GB to begin with? For example if the Grd reading is 60, how do you lock in at 65 which would be "slightly positive". I know how to lock at 50 and 83 and to the current grd reading. What other options are there?
