can anyone tell me how good the 5.75 coil for my cibola is/just ordered one.does it discriminates good?seems like the coil is hollow:laugh:wheres the meat(wire)?any feedback will be appreciated.:clapping:-----------------------------------bill

Have thought about that coil for my cibola. but :tesoro::thumbup:instead bought the 10'' csc. No need for the 5.75 when I have a compadre. I can only emagin the cibola with the 3 frequencies and a 5.75. SCARY.

I've got a 5.75 inch concentric coil. Discriminates well, is the coil for trashy areas. Some people never take the 5.75 inch coil off. I switch between the standard 8x9 coil, the 5.75 and the 3.6 x 18 cleansweep depending on the conditions. Occasionally use the 10x12 too, but it is the least used coil I have for the Cibola / Tejon.

got my blk. conc.5.75 coil today with a coil cover.got it from richard ---super guy to trade and buy from:clapping:trying to find an extra rod for it .hope to try it monday at a school .thanks -------------------------------bill.

Semper Fi. I have to agree with Tvr here. I have a 5.75" concentric for my Vaquero, and I love it. Great target separation, very light, and gets pretty good depth to boot. I use it much more than my 8x9" coil that came with the detector. This coil can get the small gold, nickels, and all the other coins at up to 7" and it is really great in heavy trash - it can separate targets very well. I would recommend this coil for your arsenal. It will give the same good results with your Cibola too.

I have one that I received with the used Tejon I bought. I just haven't had a chance to put it on yet, The stock 9X8 coil is working so well right now and covers a lot of ground! But, when the ground softens up around here after some rain I will try the 5.75 in the grassy but trashy areas I hunt at my local lake.

I use the 5.75 Concentric on my Deleon and Cutlass II, nice coil for trashy areas and not a big loss of depth compared to stock coil
I'd get the Concentric if using in mild soil and DD for minerialized soil
