Conquestador sniffs out big Silver

I went and hit a couple of spots yesterday for a couple of hours and found a nice Walking half. The Rosey dime, A 1948D was in bottom of the hole when I pulled the plug out. I was happy to see another silver dime. Then I took my Conquesador and hit the plug and it went off really load. I broke off a handfull of dirt from the bottom of the plug and ran it by my coil and it screamed again. As I was looking though the plug I could see the edge of the coin sticking out and knew I had a nice big silver coin. Every place I go, Someone has been there already, So I have been just goning over everything else others are leaving behind. Like the old saying go's, You never find it all. Also 2 wheats, a 1930 and 1945D, Couple of tokens, One newer one and the other not to sure what it really is yet, Even if it is a token, It just had a Capital E on it in the center.
Thought I would share and try and get people pummped up.

Great finds. I just found my first 2 silver coins on monday a 1907 barber and a 1917 merc.can't wait to find my first silver half.

Nice find you made also.That is a great feeling when you find your first Silver coins. I remember it well. I looked at them and looked at them, Just got a guy more pummped up then ever, Right? I have been detecting on and off since 1972 and it is always nice to find Half dollars. Wish there were more around. Here where I live anyway a guy don't see a whole lot of them. One day you'll be out digging and up one will come also. Thanks for replying.

Nice finds and I also like the key... I have only found one so far.
I did dig two WL halves one day a couple of years ago... that big silver makes you stand up and take notice!!
I haven't found more than one silver coin in the same hole yet although I have found wheaties in the same hole as silver.
Maybe it will happen this year for me.

That sure is a beauty!!! I found my first Walker (1934) last fall. VERY nice find.
