CONSTANTINE the FIRST COIN

Returned to my " Roman" field today using the T2 SE fitted with the Nel Sharpshooter coil.searched for about an hour found two coins plus 11 .303 WW2 bullets they are a bane on this farm which had RAF aircraft air firing at drones over it. To date in 6 years over 3000 of them. The best coin is a reduced follis of Canstantine 1st A.D.308to 337 reverse Genio standing. minted at Trier Germany later in his reign,I understand the "Great" title attributed to him these day resulting in his making Christianity the state religion.In fact he was a nasty piece of work.
THe coin was not deep only 5 " .

Brian,another quality find,must admit like yourself i really like the T2 and the NEL Sharpshooter combination it is in mind mind slightly sharper on the signals than the stock coil and far better build quality as well.

Must admit that sites of yours has been kind to your coins,as usually you dont find them as in good condition as yours,modern chemicals does not treat these coins very well,another thing that i have also found is that onm some of my livestock permission thye coins are just as bad,i have been thing if it could be anything to do with the animal urine eating away at the coins over time.

I think you're on the money, Mega B...in places where I detect where there is (has been) an abundance of livestock, there are places where the coins are in terrible condition. I put it down to the acid in the urine.
