Cors Scout and Patriot is a winner!

Planted a 11.5" merc. Stock coil not able to pick it up. The Cors Scout was able to pull it out. Its also a much quieter coil. Less chatter in SE. My prelimimary opinion is that its a definate winner with an inch, give or take, over the stock coil. A little heavier but i dont mind. Very solidly built. So i would highly recommend as of now but I dont have any real field time yet. I'll keep ya posted.

I have the Nel Sharpshooter on my F70, same coil as the Fortune, the companies are owned by brothers so all coils seem to be the same between them but with different names.
I hit tiny silver on my first hunt, a bunch of stuff after, handles my really difficult dirt well and I seem to be getting unusually deep here...quietly.
Hit a nickel in some sand that was still mineralized at like 10-11" with the thing even though it is a smaller coil....impressive!

My review...

Yea man, i would say even though the scout/hunter is about the same size as the stock coil its still worth the upgrade. Now the patriot is just as deep as my Blisstool with the 10 inch coil.

I have the NEL Sharpshooter and Hunter for my Patriot. I love the Sharpshooter, great separation and depth for the coil size. It has found good targets at sites I've hit pretty hard with the factory coil. I haven't had much time with the Hunter, but I have noticed it is quieter and swings nice. I am really looking forward to getting out there with it more, but work keeps getting in the way.
