cors shrew coil on the T2

Neil

Well-known member
Has anyone used the cors shrew on their T2?
Any comments on that coil?

Must admit i have never seen anyone use one or even bought one,its just a bit larger than the factory 5'' coil size but not as large as the Sharpshooter coil which i really like, its neither one or the other really.Lets put it this way,the 5'' is superb for trashy sites and the Sharpshooter i use instead of the stock coil, cannot in my mind justify the extra expense to gain anything if at all.

Some one must have bought and used one,but it does seem a unusual size, they may be the best coils going but lack of users seems to suggest they have limited use, this is of course just my opinion from observation etc.

The price is good, its a closed coil which is good for land, and the size I like. I like a 7" or 8" size. I have the 5' teknetics coil, might try the shrew.

I have the Shrew for my Makro Racer and liked it enough to get one for my Omega. I wanted a coil with the separation of the 5" coils but also wanted the extra coverage afforded by the 6.5" length of the shrew. I'm very pleased with the two I have. Excellent build quality, super price, and excellent performance in my testing. Even though the Shrew is only 3.5" wide, they get the same depth as the factory 5" DD coils. I think there's not many out there because they are fairly new to the market and most folks don't want to gamble on the unknown. I'm glad I did.

Cors & Nels coil Companies are owned by 2 Brothers, last I heard they were merging both companies into one company.

I bought the Nel snake for the G2 but have to admit I never thought of trying it out on the Omega. Hmmm
