Cortez and a little luck

Started the day by sorting some of my recent finds and found 2 Wheat Pennies I did not know I had. My Son looked up some values and I decided that I for sure needed a Database set up to find exactly what coins I have. I have never sold any of my coins and most all of them are finds. I made the Database out of Filemaker Pro to keep track of what I do have. If anyone wants a copy of this simple Database just send me your email address and I will send it to you free of charge. Note you must have Filemaker Pro software 9.0 or higher to use this.

I then went hunting a while and a guy across the street saw me. He invited me over to hunt his house property and show him a little bit about Metal Detectors. Unfortunately he had resurfaced his driveway and I had hits every where that was under the current layer. Too hard to dig. I went out in the yard and was just about ready to leave after finding a number of clad coins when I got this good strong signal.

Nice coin. Those older coins just look and feel better than the newer ones.
