Was always concerned about where the speaker holes are on the X. I never hunt without headphones so. I bought a roll of "Black Gorilla Tape"
Covered the speaker. Eliminates my worries of moisture from wet grass, light rain etc. I've logged many hours with this without any ill effects. This is something you got to decide for yourself.
Another thing. Many fine videos on the X. Could be, but I haven't seen any on how helpfull the duel discrimination aids the average coin shooter.
The settings to eliminate the Beaver tail tab from the nickel and gold jewelry are very good for this. But I'm darn sure I don't have it completely right. I got it working for me, but watching a video on this would be great. I've hunted the X on a couple of beaches and it is now my machine for everything except wading of course.
