Cowboys and indian!...........

The rains stopped, and I had a little time to hunt a site just down the road from my house. I didn't have much time so I didn't call any of my buddies because it was my wife's birthday today so I only snuck out for a quick hunt. An 1800's house was recently used for fire men to practice, and all that is left is a stone foundation and basement.

As you can see the cowboys out numbered the lone indian! here are parts to at least six different toy guns. They are all Hubley made in the 40's. There are nine pieces total but some fit together. I am pretty sure most of them lost a fight with a lawn mower. I have found many toy guns over the years, but this is the most in one hunt!

Here is the lone 1906 indian head, with the 7 wheats I found, and a live rifle shell from one of the cowboys!

Here are some finds from a hunt recently with Greg. I got the 3 wheats and the printing plate at the site of the 2nd CMD forum hunt. The butterfly was from today and the jeep came from a short hunt a few weeks ago.

Here is a close up of the printing plate. It says Bowling with a ball and some pins.

Lastly here are some toys that were also dug today. An old toy plow, a Tootsie Toy semi trailer, an engine from a toy car and a play money half dollar. Never found a toy 50 cent piece. Sure was fun! :)
