One of the most popular threads of late has been one dealing with the time it has taken for orders placed for CP6 headphones to be filled.
As some of you know, the company that produces these headphones is like many detecting accessory companies - a small operation supervised by one person. Unfortunately when something happens to that person, the business tends to be adversely impacted and such was the case with the owner of Chefphones when an entirely unexpected major medical issue struck and took Geoff out of the picture while he tried to recuperate. Family members and others stepped in but a transition was never planned and as a result, some records were not accessible and the ordering / manufacturing process took a hit in terms of efficiency but the attempt was made to keep up with the demand worldwide for the products - not just the CP6 models as they had an entire line that was being called for. The doors could have been shuddered for months waiting for Geoff to return but others felt that moving ahead, albeit at a slower pace than when Geoff was at the helm, was the preferred option.
A number of messages were posted here which went beyond simply asking how long orders took and included threats of legal action, demands for immediate responses, condemning the entire product line and the company itself . . . . and for the most part, these came from individuals that were not familiar with what was going on behind the scenes and the efforts that were being made to keep the company going until Geoff could return.
Well, Geoff is slowly picking up the reigns again after an extended recovery and rehabilitation period . . . . and the company will pick up where he left it.
There is pending news on the availability of CP6 headphones so stay tuned.
The thread that was getting rather lengthy and contained the statements referenced above has been removed as it was no longer positive in nature or reflected what was actually going on with Chefphones.
Hopefully this post sheds light on what has been unfolding for the past several months and thankfully Geoff is on the mend and will soon be back at 100%.
