Creepy Figure? Lead maybe Ethnic origin?

Chaki17

New member
Hello all. I recently dug this from a farm field in Western New York where there once was a farmstead/home site. The oldest map I have is 1853 and the house was there than. I believe it's lead and the figure is a woman. I've had guesses of Russian ethnic figurine and also of Native American. I have no idea. Any thoughts would be appreciated. I have more close up shots but I need to resize them. What say you?

That is a good one. Eastern European? Not sure of the metal, old lead often goes white. It is in better shape than I would expect for old lead. It looks very crisp, sharp casting. Almost looks like a fertility symbol or charm. 4" tall is big.

Is it solid/heavy or does it seem light/hollow? Heavy for its size say against a similar size stone? Magnetic?

Any marks?

It's quite heavy. I will check if its magnetized. I was thinking lead because it wasn't rusty just dirty. No markings of any kind. I've heard Russian/Eastern European.

Looks like it could be a NW Native American, a First Nation, or Eskimo fetish of some kind.
