cross hairs on bottom right

crow-duck

New member
I went hunting over the weekend and found 2 Barber dimes and lots of wheats, but got a couple of far right cross hairs down on the far right at bottom and when I dug didnt find anything,I have x 1 probe. What give a reading like silver at the bottom right.

Silver should read far right and upper right corner. What you describe usually means small pieces of foil or aluminum.

When I get that botton right high tone its usally one of the old pop bottle metal screw on caps or sometimes a aluminum screw cap.

We are talking Ferrous tones right??? In Conduct the high tones are upper right. That's one of the few draw backs to using Ferrous tones. I just block out the bottom right corner and it takes care of the false high tones. Anyone else care to elaborate, feel free.

Hi crowduck,

With the SE set in ferrous tones crown caps will give you a very high pitched tone and the cross hairs will show up in the bottom right hand corner guaranteed.
