crusted clad cleaned less 5 minutes

Here is how I am cleaning my crusted unreadable clad in under five minutes start to finish, (note very few coins require a repeat).
below you will see this mornings finds $6.60 in unreadable clad that I cleaned in less than three minutes there are four coins that could use a repeat cleaning but they are readable.

In the first pic you will notice my hi tech cleaning supplies;
1) generic bottle of vinegar
2) table salt
3) 1/2 cup measuring cup
4) one teaspoon
5) one glass peanut jar less the peanuts lol
6) $6.60 in unusable clad very crusty and dirty
7) the results after a three minute wash
DIRECTIONS;
1) Poor 1/2 cup of vinegar into the glass peanut jar
2) Add 1 and 1/2 teaspoons of salt to the vinegar
3) Poor/Drop in your dimes and quarters, (do pennies and nickles separate) I do not do pennies with any other coins and the same with nickles.
4) Place lid on the jar and shake jar for three to five minutes, I shake the jar about half of the time not the whole time. (This is why I purchased the tumbler, I will find a glass jar to fit my tumbler so I do not have to shake the jar)
5) Poor the cleaning solution into a glass bowl leaving the coins in the glass jar.
6) Rinse and dry the clad coins
This is very fast, very easy, and very effective way to clean your clad coins, they just do not shine but they are clean.

i think after doing that put them in the tumbler with some crushed granite and washing up soap for a couple of hours and they will shine near like new lot of work but then there is not probs getting rid of them.

I use aquarium gravel in my tumbler for cleaning clad.

no worries Todd, love the tumbler its always got a job very much a great investment the granite is good because it is small and hard and has sharp edges wouldn't think so but it polishes jewelry great and coins come up good too!!
