CS6PI beach settings???

Hi,
Got a used CS6PI off of Ebay and the darn thing doesn't work right. It's supposed to go deep like a regular pi (ie SMPI) but it goes only about as deep as a VLF and not even at times. Doesn't seem to ground balance on black sand too good either. Didn't get any manuals with the thing and I figured it wouldn't be much to figure out a machine with two knobs. Is there any 'magic' setting on the frequency and treshold that I should choose? What effect does the frequency have on what it accepts, regects, and how deep it goes? Any info would be hugely appreciated.

You want frequency set at minimum and the threshold set to slight hum.

I have a CS6, IT came defected, set threshold just under noise, if you cant get a low hum.that will work.

Email me your postal address and I can send a copy of the operators handbook.
Eric.

running in the silent zone works, but you lose depth. if you have any threhold sound at edge of threshold/silent is deepest setting.

If the CS6-PI dosent work out E-mail me,tell me what its doing.
