CS7UMD for Civil war relics. How would it perform

Trying to decide on which machine to get for CW relics and as a secondary use, gold nuggets.
I'm looking at the CS7UMD, Fisher 1270, Fisher CZ7A, Whites DFX, And the Minelab Sov or Explorer.
Using a pulse unit like the CS7UMD for small brass and lead items sounds good but I don't like digging iron all the time when I relic hunt so that may be the primary drawback. Thanks all and this is a great forum.
