Packed in this case are most of my CW recoveries for July. I will be taking it to the Relic club meeting in Richmond this Tuesday night. Retrieved over 200 bullets this month, with nearly 30 of them whole Spencers. I gave 3 whole Spencers and 18 bullets away as gifts to the land owner and family, the site has been well worth it and it ain't over yet. Three other whole Spencers I have not put in the case, and one will be coming up in a contest on the forum soon. Some of the better finds in the case are the Yankee musicians music sheet holder, 3 eagle buttons, hat letter H... ah, they're all good! Please click on photos for a much larger version.

Took my detecting buddy Greg Heath (Mountain Man) to the site. He got a bucket of bullets too. This is him detecting the first morning. I caught him at a brief moment when he wasn't actually digging a relic... just zeroing on one.

A couple first for me was a whole Spencer bullet (finally)...

A company hat letter "H"...

This was worth finding the site... just to get to see Mountain Man do his famous chicken dance!

And this is what he was chicken dancing about: A really hammerin' Confederate manuscript I button... scarce as hen's teeth. Thanks for looking,
