Went to a place with my friend Chris. We started finding bullets, flat buttons, etc. I soon got a good signal and popped this coin up from about 7". At first I thought it was an Indian head penny, but then I was unable to recognize either side of it. Looks like George Washington on the front with a date of 1863. The back had a star with a shield in it, no writing other than the date so I believe it's a Civil War patriot token. I can find some like it on the Internet but not this exact one. I was hoping it was a Confederate coin, but not today.

Chris found this interesting bullet. According to the book it's a 55 caliber Confederate States Morris bullet, somewhat rare. Nice find.

And what is this you ask? Well, can we all have a moment of silence
please. I believe this to be my 1 millionth dug relic hole. I did a small celebration, set off a couple of party poppers, and released a balloon then continued on.

A 1930 Standing Liberty quarter squeezed from amongst the house junk.

My saves from yesterday. We detected until dark, had to turn the headlights of the car on to show each other what we found. Thanks for looking.
