:csflag: Long hot hike to a Civil War era graveyard.....

Chris and I started on our first quest of finding 3 Civil War era cemetaries and hopefully a homesite or two deep in the woods. This first one was approximately 3/4 mile hike through the woods; it was hot, no air movement in the woods at all, and high humidity. Finally we saw the wall of the first cemetary.

Chris stands at the ornate gate of the old graveyard. It is heavily grown over inside, with many tombstones sticking out of the briars. The wall circumference is about 60 feet square.

This was the only relic I found (hey, I think Lindsey Lohan's on to something here). Chris also found an ornate piece of brass; we may hit this again in the winter time when some of the vegetation's down. Thanks for looking.
