CZ-20 Mineralized/Black Sand

What is the best way to hunt with the CZ-20 in mineralized/black sand? This would be in a fresh water lake. I had a terrible time this past weekend with false signals and difficult time pinpointing anything. Just the second time I've been water hunting with my CZ-20. I've read the instruction manual on this subject, but would like to read any comments/help from user's experience in the field.

As all beaches differ and many differ from day to day depending on the waves content..Might try to run in lower sens. or ground balance slightly negative and may help. Unfortunately some of these beaches can only be hunted with a PI unit..Here in the coal region with land machines some back yards are a bugger to hunt with as everyone had a coal stove and threw their ashes in the back yard and those old coal stoves were not efficient leaving a lot of mineralization to cope with..
