CZ-21 housing cracks?

EZrider

New member
Cleaning up my CZ this morning. I noticed what looked like a fine scratch on the housing by the head phone wire. Looking closely the other side by the coil wire has the same thing. Was there/ has there ever been a problem with the housings having hair line cracks? Take a hard look at your units and see if you have them.

My brand new unit has the same cracks. Just received from the dealer. What have you learned about the cracks.

Might want to call Felix at First Texas and see what he says. I will look at mine when I get off work.

Knit lines resulting from the molding process. They're normal, nothing to worry about. (Felix may not know this.)

Thank you Dave. For those of you that do not know. Dave works at the factory. His word is gospel when it comes to the CZ's.

So there you have it. Detect away and don't worry.

Hi Dave, do those knit lines protrude out of the case or are the going into a case like a crack? Are these knit lines? It on both connections to headphone and to coil.

Thanks
Steve
