CZ-70 question

Hello! I am from Russia. I am F-70 and Cz-70pro detector user. Cz-70 I purchased recently, S/n 11292335. I did the test of air tests of Dime 1993 =9" and 25 cent 1965=10,5" Disk. = 0 (Not Auto-tune), Sens. = 6, Gnd Bal = 10, Volume = 10. Searching ring 8". Is it normal or I must point Cz-70 at the repeated calibration? Thank you.
 
I have tested numerous CZ-70's(and 3D's) of all different serial #'s over the years. Your detector performs OK from what I have seen. Many CZ-70's, either 10292... or 11292... perform to this level but some are much hotter. I still don't understand how there can be so much variability in machine performance but it's true, especially with CZ's I guess due to all the tuning adjustments required and the individual electronic components within each machine. Because of this, it seems each CZ is somewhat unique in how it performs overall-ID ability and depth-air/in-the field. I doubt it can be tuned much better to make it "hotter" This same variability holds true with CZ-3D's and even E-tracs too. I hope that helps...HH
 
Talking to a CZ tech it seems there are multiple adjustments for the CZ70 so I can understand the differences in some machines,,I think Chris offers good advice as we both don't have a prayer what the mineralization of Russian soil is.....
 
Also if the coil is not right, I think that could make a difference to.
I know that some coils, being left in a hot trunk will mess with the coil, also the control box.

Some cars run better than others in the same make, so why not detectors.

Thank you fellows. We have earth of middle mineralization, we search silver and copper coins, old nickel coins for us are not present, only modern. It my second Cz-70. First Cz-70 I sold a long ago, about what spared oftentimes. I had many devices, Russian model (AKA) ,garet MH, T-30-50, F-70. Cz-70 good detector.
 
Lets throw user ability and particuliar mineralization in a fellows neck of the woods as some detectors just work better in some states than others...
