cz3d...longer shaft?

Czhunter

New member
I have the cz3d, but need ideas on lengthening the shaft, or if I can buy a longer shaft for it. Its just a little short for me.....any suggestions?

Have no knowledge of a tall mans rod for a CZ however other manufacturers make tall mans rods...Might visit a local mult line dealer and check to see if you can find a unit with a similiar bottom where the coil connects and order a tall man rod. Diameter of most lower rod top units are the same and would work if you find one with a similiar coil connector bottom..Might call Fisher and see if they do sell tall mans rods for a CZ...Pop pins do differ also and may have to modify to fit a CZ so visit your local mult line dealer as off hand don't know of a similiar one that would work.....

Yeah, I was looking online for a tall mans rod for the cz, but couldnt find one. I was thinking about cutting the shaft, and connecting an aluminum extension.

I'd call Fisher and talk to someone in the parts department.
I'm almost certain they could fix you up with a "tall man" lower rod.

Hi,
Yes, Fisher does have a longer rod. It's called a "universal rod". It's 25 in. long and I've used these for several years on my cz's. I now use them on my Fisher F75 LTD. They should fit on most any Fisher detector. Hope this helps.
