Is a CZ3D in salt mode basically the same as a CZ5? I'm considering trading for either a new CZ3D or a CZ70 Pro. I've never used a CZ70 Pro but I did use a CZ3D for a very short time. I didn't really give it a chance.

No its a CZ5 in the salt mode not a CZ5 in its regular mode..Although minimal differences tests of a CZ5 in a regular or salt mode indicate regular mode goes deeper and is more sensitive to small gold jewelry....
