Is this so or is a bogus post about a revised version for the F75 LTD that improves EMI issues?

I've read a handful of different posts alluding to this on another forum by members I consider to be reliable, but I wasn't sure if it was something that would be applied to older machines or new models to come. If it's a revision to existing models, I'd sure like to know if it would be available for F70s, F5s, etc. I believe this would give Fisher a huge surge in sales in terms of midrange and top-of-the-line detectors. :)

Rumor is that the newer higher end F series handle emi better
than their predecessors via better shielding, etc... It's been an ongoing discussion on many forums.

As all users with any experience can agree the F75 has always been prone to EMI interference. This interference is so bad at certain locations that it virtually makes the F75 useless, but switching to the Gold Bug pro or G2 and I can hunt these areas with great success. Why, many differences between the machines.
When the EMI chatter becomes so loud you can not, will never be able to discern the difference between a deep 7" target and the chatter.

I recently took another machine "won't mention the name at this time" to an area where I had hunted with both the F75 LTD and Minelab Etrac. I was 100% sure there was no good targets left. I'll make this short, because it will become a huge report if I continue to write. Within an hour and a 15-20' radius around the tree I found two silver dimes and 4 wheat pennies. All these were well within the reach of both the machines mentioned. Now some may say I just missed them and in fact that was my thoughts exactly, but when I find a good target anywhere I go into an inch by inch coverage mode. Wanting to find it all while I'm there.
By my experience the F75 LTD is the deepest detector I've ever used when the conditions are right. Low to zero EMI is the key to this machines performance. But add an overhead transformer and some other type of EMI and you'll need a backup plan. More to follow at a future date.

I agree Fisher is the best, but doubt if that fix will be sold to upgrade existing user, but rather will be applied to a new machine. The Eurotek Pro was huge jump for the two features they offered and I really love this machine too.
